Constructors should refer to the Component Overlays along with,
the Bill of Materials for the current value of all components, and
the General Construction Notes for general PCB assembly guidelines.

  1. Assemble the 6x Jack Carrier boards
  2. Mount all components on their respective PCBs except for the Jack Carrier sub-assemblies
  3. Mount 3x Jack Carrier sub-assemblies on to the Column 1 PCB but do not solder
  4. Offer the Column 1 PCB assembly up to the front panel and secure using the supplied nuts and washers
  5. Solder the Jack Carrier sub-assemblies in to position
  6. Mount 3x Jack Carrier sub-assemblies on to the Column 2 PCB but do not solder
  7. Offer the Column 2 PCB assembly up to the front panel and secure using the supplied nuts and washers
  8. Solder the Jack Carrier sub-assemblies in to position
  9. Mount the ES20 PCB on to the Column 1 and Column 2 PCBs ensuring that the IDC connectors are properly aligned

ADDENDUM

R213 needs to be inserted in series with the left-hand legs of R206 and R207:-

  1. Hold all 3 resistores side-by-side and twist their legs at one end and solder
  2. Cut off the excess legs leaving between 1-2mm of conenction
  3. Slighly fan the the resistors to form a pyramid and then insert their legs in to their respective pads - R206 in to its right-hand pad, R207 in to its right-hand pad and R213 in to either of the left-hand pads.
