Constructors should refer to the Component Overlays along with,
the Bill of Materials for the current value of all components, and
the General Construction Notes for general PCB assembly guidelines.
- Assemble the 8x Jack Carrier boards (3D Model)
- Fit all components to the Panther Pot Supports boards
except for the Jack Carrier assemblies
- Mount 3x Jack Carrier assemblies to one of the Panther Pot
boards but do not solder
- Offer the assembly up to the front panel and secure using
the supplied nuts and washers ensuring that the PCB sits
parallel to the edge of the panel
- Solder the Jack Carrier assemblies in to place
- Remove this assembly and repeat for the 2nd Panther Pot
board. Remove it when done
- Fit all components to the ED104 board except for the LEDs
D101 and D102 and Jack Carrier assemblies
- Mount the Jack carrier assemblies to the board but do not solder
- Offer the assembly up to the front panel and secure using the supplied nuts and washers ensuring
that the [LIN/LOG] switch sits central to its mounting hole
- Solder the Jack Carrier assemblies in to place
- Form and mount the LEDs
- Install the 2 Panther Pot assemblies
J101 and J102 do not normally need to be fitted as it is expected that the audio inputs be AC coupled. If you wish the option of using DC coupled inputs then you should fit J101 and J102 and use shunts to xelect DC Coupling.
