The ED704 is a passive busboard ideal for distributing your EuroSynths power rails (+/-12V, +5V) around your system.

The ED704 has the same dimensions as its predecessor, the ED123, allowing it to neatly fit in to a 3U 42HP section of your system. The ED704 uses right-angle IDC connectors which not only makes it ideal for shallow skiffs, but they also make insertion of cables easier.

WIRING NOTES

The ED704 has +/-12V power connections at both ends allowing multiple boards to be daisy-chained to support any sized system. A different approach to the design of the distribution rails within the ED704 offers improved performance in multi-board systems with minimal signal loss across the length of the run and enhanced noise immunity.The ED704 has 2 sets of power in/out terminals, one at each end of the PCB. Either set can be used to feed power in to the ED704. The other set can then be used to connect to an additional ED704 if needed.Two 5V terminals in the centre of the PCB allow an external 5V power source to be connected (either terminal can be used). The 2nd 5V terminal can then be used to feed the 5V to another busboard. If using our EURO5V with [BusBoardENabled] then 5V will be present on these two terminals in which case you must NOT connect an external 5V supply, we also recommend NOT using the 5V terminal to connect to another busboard whilst using the EURO-5V.
