Constructors should refer to the Component Overlays along with,
the Bill of Materials for the current value of all components, and
the General Construction Notes for general PCB assembly guidelines.

Assembly of the ES24 boards should follow the procedure as detailed in the ES24 Build Guide

1. Assemble 5x Jack Carrier Boards
2. Fit all components to the ES23 board except for Jack Carrier sub-assemblies
3. Position the Jack Carrier sub-assemblies on to the respective headers but do not solder
4. Offer the assembly up to the panel and secure using the supplied nuts
5. Solder all of the Jack Carrier sub-assemblies in to place
6. Fit the 20-way IDC Ribbon cable to J302 on ES23 and to J5 on the ES24 Back Board

The 2x shunts should be fitted on to the last ES24 in the chain. If there are no ES24 4-Stage Programmer Extension modules connected to this ES23 then fit the shunts on to JP1 and JP2 of the ES24 Back Board in this module. If there are ES 4-Stage Programmer Extension modules in the chain from this ES23 then fit the shunts on to the last ES24 Back Board. You should also have 20-way IDC cables connecting the ES24(s) and ES23 together (this cable will connect between a J5 and a J6 socket on each successive ES24 group
