eTouch is a family of Touch modules that provide CV and GATE outputs in response to touch and pressure and allow the user more flexibility in how they interact with their modular system.

The family is currently composed of:-

1. ES34 TouchPad
2. ES35 Touch Controller
3. ES25 Touch Keyboard
4. ES28 Touch Sequencer

The ES34 Touch Pad is a portable 8-pad Touch Unit that interfaces with the ES35 and the ES28. The ES34 is connected using an umbilical cable and this allows the user to move around while using the controller and also to quickly reconnect the ES34 to other eTouch modules in the system. The ES34, by itself, offers no user function. Connecting the ES34 to a ES35 Touch Controller provides the user with individual [CV] and [GATE] outputs for each touchpad and a [COMMON CV] and [COMMON GATE]. These can be used to control any CV/LOGIC input in your system. The adavantage of the ES34/ES35 pairing is that of flexibility in movement for the user and the smaller module space required by the ES35. The ES35, by itself, offers no user function.The ES25 combines both the ES34 and ES35 in to a single module.

The ES28 is an extremely versatile manual and automatic controller, combining a (optional) touch-sensitive keyboard, a voltage programmer (pre-set selector), and a sequencer. The ES28 can be operated without an ES34 being connected. The GATE signals that would have been generated by the ES34 can be provided by patching appropriate LOGIC signals to the [STEP x] inputs.

Modules using the ES34 TouchPad require a DB9 cable to connect each other. ELBY Designs offers a DB9 Umbilical Cable that incorporates a right-angle DB9 connector for fitting to the ES34 .
