ED722 - Slow Oscillator
Let's Go Shopping

The ED722 is an LFO offering manually variable wave shapes and is derived from the CGS758 Utility LFO.

Standard waveshapes are square, falling ramp variable through triangle to rising ramp, and variable pulse width. A combination waveshape that is variable between the sawtooth/triangle output and the square is available at the [MIX] output. This is a mix not a morph.

The cycle range for the ED722 goes from in excess of 22Hz down to well in excess of 3 minutes per cycle.

Output voltages for the [SQUARE], [PULSE] and [TRI-SAW] wave shapes are 5Vp-p while the [MIX] output will range from around 6Vp-p at the squarewave end, through 2V5p-p at '50/50' mix, to 5Vp-p at the triangle end.

The [PULSE] output duty-cycle can be varied from around 10% to 90% inline with the [TRI-SAW] setting.

The (lower cost) CGS758 variant has an identical circuit and performance but requires some manual wiring of the jacks and a couple of minor build modifications.
