Build Guide - Calibration

Calibration for the PSU-10 involves trimming the output rails to their final value.

If re-calibrating a unit then remove the 4 screws on the POWER IN panel, tilt the panel forward to allow the lid to be withdrawn. Be careful when performing the following steps that the exposed terminals of the panel components do not touch the metal of the case or any other conductive surface or object.

It is recommended that calibration is done with the PSU-10 connected to its normal operating load
and the measurements made at a point in a boat where the +/-12V rails enter, failing this,
make the adjustments at the J5-J8 points on the PSU-10.

Monitor the +12V rail (or J5) and adjust P1 for +12.0V to +12.1V
Monitor the -12V rail (or J8) and adjust P2 for -12.0V to -12.1V
