The BOG is a ‘voice’ unit that is used to create the basic sounds that you want to hear however the BOG does not include an output that is suitable for connection to most external audio equipment. You may have the requisite function of an ‘audio interface’ in one of the other boats in your system such as the CGS506 MCSM in the Voltron 7 or the CGS360 Stompbox Adaptor in the Voltron 4. If you have anything like this then you can ignore the following section.
A very simple passive attenuator can be fitted to one of the VCA’s in the BOG which is then reassigned as your ‘audio interface’. The 4mm banana [OUT] jack is replaced by a 3.5mm jack allowing use of a regular 3.5mm-6.35mm adaptor cable to be used to connect to the external equipment. The components for this modification are now included as standard in our BOG kits allowing you to implement this alternate function if desired.
